PSU researchers among world’s top 2% of scientists by Stanford University rankings

Prince of Songkla University (PSU) proudly congratulates its researchers who have been ranked among the world’s top 2% of scientists, according to a global database compiled by a research team from Stanford University, USA. The ranking is based on publication records, citation impact, and h-index data extracted from the Scopus database, assessing both career-long citation impact and single-year citation impact.

The study, titled “Updated Science-Wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators” and published in the PLOS Biology journal, evaluates over 100,000 leading scientists worldwide using multiple standardized metrics, including citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and composite c-score indicators. The data was last updated on September 19, 2025, reflecting citation statistics up to the end of 2024, following the Science-Metrix classification system.
