- teaching is conducted by over 2,500 academic staff, with about 70% Doctoral degree holders
- has produced more than 150,000 alumni
- total area of the five campuses is 621.92 hectares (Hat Yai Campus: 267.2 hectares; Pattani Campus: 144.64 hectares; Phuket Campus: 29.92 hectares; Surat Thani Campus: 70.4 hectares; Trang Campus: 109.76 hectares)
