PSU representatives joined UM iWeek 2025 to strengthen international collaboration and promote student mobility initiatives

From 28-30 October 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Janya Chanchaichujit, Assistant President for Promotion of Foreign Affairs, together with staff from the Global Affairs and Corporate Communication Center (GACC), Prince of Songkla University (PSU), participated in the “Universiti Malaya International Week (UM iWeek) 2025”, organized by Universiti Malaya (UM) in Malaysia.

The event aimed to promote international academic collaboration and strengthen global partnerships among universities worldwide. A wide range of activities were organized throughout the event, including a meeting with UM executives, presentations under the theme “Highlights on UM Initiatives” – namely Sustainability@UM, Green@UMHealth, and Community Engagement@UM – as well as the AUN-DPPnet Book Launch, the Mobility Fair, and panel discussions on Student Mobility and Global Partnerships. In addition, there were networking sessions among administrators, staff, and students, along with international food and cultural exhibitions.

The three-day event attracted participation from 31 partner universities across 19 countries, with more than 5,000 attendees.

Student Exchange under the ASEAN Credit Transfer System (AUN-ACTS) โดยมอบทุนแลกเปลี่ยนการศึกษาให้กับนักศึกษาจาก Universiti Malaya

Moreover, PSU took this opportunity to discuss future collaboration on the Hybrid Student Mobility Program with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Sunway University, both leading institutions in Malaysia.

PSU’s participation in this international event reflects the university’s active role in fostering international cooperation and enhancing its global image, paving the way for future joint initiatives and mutually beneficial partnerships.
