The event was organized by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT) with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon. The fair aimed to strengthen academic collaboration networks and promote Thailand as a regional hub for quality higher education among Myanmar youth.

The fair brought together more than 23 leading Thai universities and attracted over 600 registered participants. PSU’s booth received great attention from more than 200 Myanmar visitors, who came to inquire about the university’s academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and admission procedures.

The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, who also visited the PSU booths. PSU presented a total of three booths: a central booth featuring the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Fisheries and Food Innovation, a booth representing PSU Phuket Campus with the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism and the College of Computing, and a booth from the Faculty of Medicine.

In addition, PSU organized proactive promotional activities to attract talented Myanmar students to pursue postgraduate studies under the PSU Graduate Studies Scholarships and Admission Program, which will open for applications in December 2025.
