PSU President signed agreement with Senate Secretariat to enhance research integration into legislation

On 16 January 2025, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunthorn Wongsiri, M.D., Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suppasil Maneerat, Director of the Research and Development Office, participated in a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement aimed at integrating academic and research outputs into the legislative process.  The ceremony, held at the Parliament Building, Secretariat of the Senate, marked a significant collaboration between PSU and the Secretariat of the Senate. The event was presided over by Mr. Mongkol Surasajja, President of the Senate, alongside Mr. Boonsong Noisophon, Second Vice President of the Senate, and Ms. Pannita Sathantraipob, Secretary-General of the Senate. Senior executives from both organizations were also in attendance.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony marked a significant collaboration between the Secretariat of the Senate and PSU, aiming to integrate academic and research outputs into the legislative process. The agreement also seeks to foster the application of research data and innovations to support the nation’s future development.
