Prince of Songkla University (PSU), through the Center for International Affairs and Corporate Communication, organized a training program titled “Global Citizens of the New Era – Empowering International Competence for Living in a Culturally Diverse World” on July 19, 2025, at the Small Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Sports and Recreation Building, Hat Yai Campus. The program aimed to enhance students’ leadership potential, communication skills, and mindset to prepare them to become quality global citizens of the future. The event brought together more than 50 students, along with university executives and international affairs staff, in an atmosphere filled with both enjoyment and meaningful learning.

The training featured Mr. Karanyaphat Kudisri, founder of Englighten Tutorial School and a flight attendant with Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd., as guest speaker. He shared valuable knowledge and experiences on intercultural communication, working in international contexts, and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds. The session also included intensive activities designed to strengthen students’ international competencies throughout the day.

In addition, the program provided practical knowledge on welcoming international guests to the university and essential information about PSU and Thailand. This was particularly beneficial for student leaders in international relations (PSU Young GACC), who play a key role in driving the university’s internationalization efforts and can apply these skills and knowledge in various contexts.

This initiative reflects PSU’s strong commitment to equipping its graduates with the readiness to thrive in a multicultural world and to confidently take on roles on the international stage with competence and quality.
