PSU co-hosts SEEDS 2025, an international academic platform on Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Equity, and Digital Strategies

Prince of Songkla University (PSU), in collaboration with Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida, India, and Middlesex University Dubai, successfully co-hosted the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Equity, and Digital Strategies (SEEDS 2025) from 2-4 December 2025 at the Rembrandt Hotel, Bangkok.

The conference commenced with opening remarks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Arpan Anand, Conference Chair from Jaipuria Institute of Management, followed by a welcoming address by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, PSU Vice President for Academic and International Affairs.
 
The event brought together participants from various countries including India, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, and Romania. Attendees comprised scholars, researchers, students, policymakers, and practitioners from multiple sectors.

SEEDS, now in its third consecutive year, aims to create an international knowledge-sharing platform that connects experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to drive sustainable development, equity, and digital adaptation.

The conference featured keynote lectures delivered by distinguished international speakers, including:

  •  “Shaping Halal Economic Growth” by Dr. Marco Tieman, Malaysia;

  •  “AI-Enabled Digital Twins for Industry” by Dr. Sreejith Balasubramanian, Middlesex University Dubai;

  • The Business Case for Environmental Sustainability: Thailand Post” by Mr. Chawachit Soonthornsaratoon, Thailand Post.

Across the two-day academic program, the conference hosted more than 250 research presentations, both onsite and online, covering themes such as digitalization, intelligent business environment, emerging trends in sustainable development, climate-resilient business models, and circular economy models that reduce waste, promote reuse, and minimize environmental impact. Delegates also engaged in networking sessions aimed at strengthening academic collaboration among institutions.

On 2 December 2025, participants joined a cultural excursion to iconic landmarks in Bangkok. The activity was arranged to enhance cross-cultural understanding and enrich the overall academic experience of the conference.

Co-hosting SEEDS 2025 reinforces Prince of Songkla University’s commitment to advancing research collaboration and sustainable development at both regional and global levels. The university continues to strive toward generating impactful knowledge and fostering positive societal change in the years ahead.
