The forum was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China, alongside a courtesy visit to Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine (YUCM) on 23–24 October 2025, further reinforcing academic collaboration between institutions.

Held under the theme “Jointly Building High-Level International Education Cooperation Region”, the forum was co-organized by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and Yunnan University (YNU). The event aimed to advance cross-border educational cooperation and academic exchanges, particularly between Yunnan and countries across South and Southeast Asia, to enhance educational quality and support sustainable socio-economic development in the region.

During the event, Asst. The session focused on sharing best practices and exploring the potential of digital technologies to promote equitable and inclusive education.

On 24 October 2025, the PSU delegation visited Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine (YUCM) for discussions on strengthening academic collaboration in key areas such as medicine, public health, and Chinese language studies—fields with strong potential and strategic relevance to future Thailand–China cooperation.
