On June 13, 2025, the Faculty of Communication Sciences, PSU Pattani Campus, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Phirakan Kai-nunna, Dean of Faculty of Communication Sciences, hosted the official launch of the “Commcraft” brand to mark the faculty’s 23rd anniversary. The event was held under the theme “Commcraft: Where Craft Meets Communication”, highlighting the convergence of ideas, communication, and creativity. The brand reflects a powerful collaboration among the faculty’s three academic programs: Mass Communication, Media Design and Computer Innovation, and Information Science for Management. The launch featured a seminar and was attended by faculty members and staff from both the Faculty of Communication Sciences and other units of PSU Pattani Campus.
COMMCRAFT is the outcome of a powerful synergy among three academic disciplines, Mass Communication, Media Design and Computer Innovation, and Information Science for Management, brought together under the Faculty of Communication Sciences, PSU Pattani Campus. United by a shared core competency in communication, design, and creativity. COMMCRAFT represents the intersection where diverse fields collaborate to craft impactful ideas and innovative solutions.
Over the years, faculty members and students have collaboratively crafted works that go beyond academic knowledge infused with inspiration, dedication, and the true spirit of communication. COMMCRAFT was born to elevate these creations, transforming them into tangible, functional keepsakes that reflect the identity of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
COMMCRAFT is more than just a souvenir brand. It is a platform for showcasing the power of creative communication, driven by purposeful design. Each item is the result of a thoughtful process, analyzed, refined, and shaped by hearts that believe “communication is not merely message transmission, but the art of story design.” These are products with purpose, character, and meaning designed to communicate, made to be used, and crafted to inspire pride. The designs were creatively developed by Dr. Kamtorn Kerdthip, a lectuer at the Department of Media Design Innovation, whose artistic vision brings depth and identity to each COMMCRAFT piece.
COMMCRAFT marks the beginning of a new journey, transforming “academic works” into tangible “crafted creations” that everyone can experience with.
