PSU executives and academics from the faculties of Management Sciences, Liberal Arts, Fine and Applied Arts and Education, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppadol Tippayarat, Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, participated in exchange programs at Jiangxi Normal University (JXNU), P.R. China, from 7-13 June 2015. The Executives Visit and Academic Staff Exchange programs enabled lecturers from the two universities to share and exchange knowledge and teaching experiences. During their visit, PSU academics participated in a welcome trip to Nanchang, the world-famous ceramic capital in Jingdezhen City.
Furthermore, PSU students from the faculties of Medicine, Natural Resources, Liberal Arts, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, together with the coordinating staffs, visited JXNU under the Cultural Exchange Program from 7-20 June. The JXNU Vice Dean of School of Intercultural Studies welcomed the PSU delegation on 9 June. During they stay at JXNU, PSU students participated in many captivating activities and had the chance to visit several remarkable attractions in Nanchang such as, Nanchang Zoo, Tengwangge Pavillion, Longhu Mountain, World Heritage Site, Mount Sanqing and Guangzhou City. Students also attended many Chinese classes, such as Listening and Speaking, Reading and Writing, Chinese Culture, and Chinese Traditional Instruments.
The Cultural Exchange Performance was held on 16 June, and included classical Thai dances, Thai boxing, Guzheng demonstration, a role-play, as well as joint Chinese singing and dancing of the PSU and JXNU students, in order to reiterate the friendship between the two universities.
