Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, along with the Head and staff of the PSU International Affairs Office, participated in the first “MARCO POLO” project meeting in Seville, Spain, from February 19 to 22, 2017. The Erasmus+ project, initiated by the University of Seville, Spain, aims at strengthening the internationalization process of notable universities in Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Participating universities from these countries will be given internationalization training sessions by partner universities from Spain, the United Kingdom and Austria. The project will last for three years, from October 2016 to October 2019.
In order to continue establishing the framework of the project, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kewalin Thammasitboon, Assistant President for International Relations, together with the Head and the staff from the International Affairs Office, visited Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria.
The MARCO POLO project provides an excellent opportunity for PSU to improve its internationalization process by global standards – a key factor that will contribute greatly to the successful growth and development of our university.
