On 4 August 2024, PSU Hat Yai Campus hosted the 24th PSU Hat Yai Nature Run 2024. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wasin Suwanarat, Vice President of Hat Yai Campus and the project chairman. University administrators, staff, and approximately 2,000 runners gathered at the flagpole area of the Hat Yai Campus to take part in this vibrant event.
The proceeds from this year’s PSU Hat Yai Nature Run will be dedicated to purchasing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), enhancing the safety of students, staff, and visitors within the PSU Hat Yai Campus area. Additionally, funds will be contributed to the PSU Foundation. The event also aimed to promote healthy living by encouraging active participation in sports. The run featured three race categories: a 21.1 km half marathon, a 10.5 km mini marathon, and a 4 km fun run.
