PSU Faculty of Management Sciences hosts National Business Simulation Competition, empowering students to become future business leaders

From 8 to 9 February 2025, the Faculty of Management Sciences, PSU, in collaboration with GT TECHNOLOGIES and Top-BOSS, successfully hosted the Thailand Macro Business Simulation 2025 (MBS), a prestigious national business simulation competition. The event provided a dynamic platform for students to sharpen their business acumen and leadership skills in a highly competitive and immersive environment. The ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, with a warm welcome address from Assoc. Prof. Theerawat Hungsapruek, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences. The competition brought together esteemed faculty, students, and participants from across the country, featuring 52 teams from 12 universities showcasing their talents and business strategies.

This competition provided a platform to foster creativity, teamwork, and the development of future business leaders by simulating real-world business complexities, challenges, and decision-making. Participants applied their business knowledge through innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset in a dynamic and competitive environment. Organized in collaboration with GT TECHNOLOGIES and Top-BOSS, the event was co-hosted by Mr. Supakit Nakarajouypol, Managing Director of GT Technologies Co., Ltd., whose pivotal support and contributions were instrumental in making the event a success.

Dr. Thakerng emphasized the university’s commitment to advancing education beyond the classroom. He highlighted that this competition serves as a platform to cultivate innovation, strategic thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset, that are essential skills for future business leaders. He stressed that knowledge alone is not enough, it must be applied, tested, and refined through real-world experiences

This competition provides students with the unique opportunity to step into the role of decision-makers, navigating complex business challenges and making strategic decisions under high-pressure conditions amid the uncertainties of today’s business world. The ability to analyze, strategize, and make data-driven decisions is what distinguishes successful leaders from the rest. This simulation is meticulously designed to mirror these complexities, pushing participants beyond theoretical knowledge into real-world application.
