A PSU delegation, led by PSU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Chuan Leekpai, Former Prime Minister of Thailand and Counselor of the PSU University Council, as well as Prof. Emeritus Dr. Charas Suwanwela, M.D., Chairman of the PSU University Council, visited the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, Kanazawa University, and Hokkaido University from 27 August - 3 September 2017. The main objective of this visit was to strengthen the existing collaboration with Kanazawa University and explore the potential collaboration with Hokkaido University. On 28 August 2017, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan, warmly welcomed the PSU delegates and gave a special presentation on the embassy’s policy for promoting collaboration with Japanese higher education institutions, which was very beneficial for the PSU’s future academic cooperation with Japan. The main objective of this visit was implemented at Kanazawa University and Hokkaido University, where our delegates had fruitful discussions on possible collaborative activities with the top management of both universities, as well as representatives from relevant schools.
