On January 26, 2024, the PSU led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, PSU President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pongthep Sutheravut, Vice President for Administration and Strategy, Mr. Sompong Dowpiset, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Star Home Beach Resort Co., Ltd., and Mr. Sophon Chumkrai, alongside Mr. Supoj Na Nongkhai, the Governor of Phang Nga Province, PSU executives, media representatives come together in a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony, marking the inception of a collaboration in promoting health and wellness between PSU and Star Home Beach Resort Co., Ltd. to develop academic excellence, pioneering research, and innovation within the La Vita Sana into a Health and Wellness Hub of Phang Nga Province.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Niwat stated that the PSU - La Vita Sana project in Phang Nga Province as a beacon of inspiration and innovation, utilizing the potential of personnel from various fields. A standout contributor is the Faculty of Traditional Thai Medicine, playing a significant role in pioneering herbal innovations, building upon local wisdom and the country's traditional knowledge. Simultaneously, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences lends its expertise to establish herbal medicine production facilities that not only meet rigorous standards but also represent a harmonious blend of traditional Thai medicine and modern pharmaceutical technology. Their dedicated research efforts ensure the certification of product authenticity, while also spearheading initiatives to manage the organization's carbon footprint.
