On 24 February 2025, PSU and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The ceremony was led by PSU President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, accompanied by university executives and the Faculty of Engineering Dean and academic staff. UniMAP’s delegation was led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dato' Ts. Dr. Zaliman Bin Sauli, and included the Director of the Centre for International Engagement, the Deputy Dean for Academic and Research from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology, and the VC team.
The visit began with the signing of MoU, followed by discussions on potential venues of collaboration, including student exchange programs, joint research projects, and internship opportunities.
To facilitate these discussions, PSU presented an overview of the faculty’s academic programs from the Department of Electrical Engineering. The UniMAP delegation was then given a tour of the laboratories at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
The signing of this MoU represents a significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between PSU and UniMAP, fostering academic development and innovation through collaboration, particularly in the field of Engineering.
