The program offers eligible students the opportunity to undertake a research internship at a Canadian university under the supervision of a Canadian faculty member, while gaining valuable international research experience and broadening their academic and professional perspectives.

• PSU will provide financial support of CAD 4,000 for one student who passes the final Mitacs selection. The funding will be provided by PSU through the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT)

• Mitacs will provide financial support of up to CAD 8,000.

• Funding covers airfare, transportation, accommodation, educational fees, food, emergency health insurance, and other eligible expenses.

• Funding is subject to the conditions of Mitacs and the host university. Some expenses may need to be paid in advance and reimbursed later.

• PSU undergraduate student.

• 18 years or older at the time of application.

• At least 2 years of undergraduate study completed, with 1–3 semesters remaining.

• Good proficiency in English or French, particularly in communication and writing.

• No prior participation in the Mitacs GRI and compliance with Mitacs’ research policies and requirements.

• Minimum GPAX of 3.00.
