PSU had the honor of receiving three distinguished officers from the Immigration Office of Hat Yai City on August 17, 2011. They came to PSU to handle various matters for the university’s international staff and students. Some of the affairs managed that day were the collection of documents for more than 90 days of stay in Thailand, the extension of visas, and advice on a range of related issues. More than 50 international staff and students met with the immigration officers to resolve their affairs.
This was the third time the Immigration Office of Hat Yai City allowed their representatives to come to PSU and facilitate the process for foreigners working and studying here. The last time, on July 5, 2011, more than 40 staff and students requested advice and services from the immigration officers.

Due to the large number of foreign staff and students in need of consultation, it is hoped that the immigration officers will continue to offer their services on the PSU campus. PSU expresses its utmost appreciation to the Immigration Office of Hat Yai for this advantage, which allows members of its international community to save precious time and more easily complete their papers so they may continue to work or study in the Land of Smiles.
