A group of 18 delegates from the Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) visited PSU on July 19, 2011. They were representatives of the administrators association of USIM, named PRAGMATIS USIM, and were led by Mr. Mohd Salehudin Sukor, President of this association. Our distinguished guests did a working visit to our university, in order to learn more about the organizational structure of PSU and to discuss future possible collaboration between our universities.
A the welcome meeting, headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchai Ratanachai, Vice President for Outreach and International Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichien Chatapote, Assistant President for International Affairs, participated also representatives from the faculties of Dentistry, Engineering, and Medicine. During the meeting, our visitors asked many questions regarding Songklanagarind Hospital and Dental Hospital, training for the medical and dental students at PSU, laboratories and libraries, accommodation for international students, extracurricular activities, internet coverage on campus and E-system, and about research at PSU.

After discussing with PSU representatives, our guest expressed their wish to start collaboration with PSU, especially staff and student exchange programs. Therefore, we look forward to establishing strong relationship between PSU and USIM.
