A delegation from the University of Health Science, Lao PDR, led by Dr. Somchith Boupha, Vice President, paid a visit to PSU from July 10 – 13, 2011. They participated in a MOU Singing Ceremony and discussed on potential collaboration between the two universities. The MOU Signing Ceremony, witnessed by PSU executives and representatives from many relevant faculties, was arranged on July 12, 2011, at PSU, Hat Yai Campus.

The UHS delegation also visited the faculties of Dentistry, Science, Pharmaceutical Science, and Tradition Thai Medicine, where they had the chance to discuss in detail on academic collaborations e.g. staff and students exchanges, joint research, curriculum developments, and co-supervisors.

PSU has offered five scholarships to UHS staff to further their studies both at undergraduate and graduate levels at the PSU faculties of Dentistry, Traditional Thai Medicine and Medical Technology.
